About Dr. Scott Bleazy
Bringing with him a broad depth of knowledge and a compassionate approach, Scott Bleazey, DPM, is well-loved by both his patients and teammates at MidJersey Orthopaedics in Flemington and Bridgewater, New Jersey. With an emphasis on taking the time to learn his patients’ complete medical histories, Dr. Bleazey specializes in treating disorders of the ankle and foot, including fractures, foot and ankle reconstructive surgery, foot and ankle pain, limb salvage and revision surgery.
Dr. Bleazey began his medical training at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before moving on to New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, where he completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery and limb salvage. Dr. Bleazey then underwent an additional year of fellowship training in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Coordinated Health/Lehigh Valley Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Prior to returning back to his home state of New Jersey he continued to gain advanced experience while an attending foot and ankle surgeon at The Center for Orthopedic Research and Education in Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Bleazey is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and takes a special interest in ankle and foot fractures, tendon injuries, arthritis, sports injuries, arthroscopy, pediatric fractures, charcot management, and foot/ankle deformities.
Dr. Bleazey has published over 10 peer reviewed articles regarding advances in foot and ankle surgery/techniques. He also was a contributing author for Pocket Foot and Ankle Medicine and Surgery in 2018.
Outside of his work at MidJersey Orthopaedics, Dr. Bleazey enjoys playing ice hockey, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles, and maximizing time with his wife and two daughters.
