Dr. Pollack was educated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and earning his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College. He relocated to New York City to complete a residency at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center (now known as Mount Sinai Morningside and West). He also pursued residency training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, and Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. Dr. Pollack finished his training with a fellowship in shoulder, knee, and arthroscopic surgery at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
Dr. Pollack is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and boasts a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. In his practice at MidJersey Orthopaedics, he specializes in sports medicine, disorders of the shoulder, elbow, and knee, and arthroscopic and minimally invasive procedures. He’s passionate about providing patients with state-of-the-art and evidence-based solutions to help them heal quickly and comfortably, only suggesting surgery as a last resort. Dr. Pollack also regularly performs total and reverse shoulder replacements as well as knee replacement surgery.
Outside of his work at MidJersey Orthopaedics, Dr. Pollack enjoys exercise, travel, and maximizing time with his wife and two daughters. He has held numerous leadership positions within the Hunterdon Healthcare System, including serving on the Board of Trustees. Dr. Pollack is also active in the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), having served on the education, communications/ technology, and international committees.
